INTRODUCTORY PROGRAM
University age students with little or no background in
Judaic studies are given an introduction to the world
of Jewish learning. Lectures are given in Jewish philosophy,
contemporary Halachic issues, and the rationale of the
Commandments. Studies are complemented by tours and hikes around
Israel and Shabbat programs in various communities.
INTERMEDIATE PROGRAM
Students are taught the skills necessary for independent
study of the classical Hebrew texts. Among the texts studied are;
the Pentateuch, Prophets, the Talmud, the Code of Jewish Law and
the Siddur. In addition to a system of individual tutorials,
members of the staff are available for individualized study
programs.
BEIT MIDRASH PROGRAM
The Beit-Midrash program offers advanced Talmudic
studies combining lectures and tutorials with independent
study of texts.
SUMMER AND WINTER PROGRAMS IN ISRAEL
The Summer program runs during the months of June and
July and the Winter program starts in mid-December and finishes
in January. For further information and registration contactthe
